Mr. Ewing assumes his new role after serving as Total Rod Concepts, Inc.’s President for the past year.

“We are very excited to welcome Don into this new role,” said Ralph Stark, President of TRC Rod Services of Texas, Inc. “Don’s long history in the fiberglass sucker rod industry and his extensive quality control expertise will continue to be a huge asset for the company. His experience has proven critical in enabling us to manufacture a world class fiberglass sucker rod. Don was instrumental in elevating that business to be the only U.S. made fiberglass rods that carry the API monogram, and are ISO certified.
Don Ewing joined Total Rod Concepts, Inc., a subsidiary of TRC Services, Inc., in 2010 and assumed the role of V.P. of Operations in March of 2012. Mr. Ewing was elected President May 2018 and has held that role until now.
Prior joining Total Rod Concepts, Mr. Ewing was the Plant Manager and Senior Quality Engineer for Parker Hannifin, in Big Spring, TX. In that role, he achieved ISO9001:2000 certification for its facility and managed the quality system. Prior to Parker Hannifin, Mr. Ewing was employed for twelve years at Fiberflex Products, Inc., a manufacturer of fiberglass sucker rods in Big Spring, TX, where he held various positions, including Pultrusion Manager, Assembly Manager, and Quality Assurance Manager.
Mr. Ewing holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Lubbock Christian University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Mr. Ewing’s appointment is effective September 1, 2019.
